Over the years, the communities living here have largely contributed to environmental degradation, especially through deforestation. This has seen a negative impact on farming and wildlife considering that kajiado county is the home to 3 major national parks and a game reserve. I.e; Amboseli National park, Tsavo game reserve and Nairobi national park. Through this pillar, we have initiated an initiative dubbed “Plant for the Planet” that aims at educating the community on the importance of trees and involving schoolchildren in tree planting activities in their schools and homes. We plan to plant over 5000 trees every year in the county.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
