Youth and Women Empowerment

Hnh Kenya aims to uplift and empower youth and women in the region by providing them with skill development opportunities, entrepreneurship training, tech-based skills, and access to resources. We believe that by empowering these groups, we can contribute to enhanced economic growth and social development.

The Maasai community is known to have a culture that tends to lock out women and girls. This program will work towards building positive changes to women and girls through financial inclusion and economic empowerment initiatives. We plan to build capacities among the women through financial literacy training, group savings, and linkage to financial institutions. The women and girls will also have an opportunity to learn new handicraft skills that can easily be turned into income-generating activities.

Impact

HnhKenya has made significant strides in its endeavor to bring positive change to the community. Our projects have reached over 5,000 youths, including girls, providing them with valuable skills and knowledge. Furthermore, we have empowered 700 women, supporting them in becoming economically self-sufficient and active contributors to their communities. Planted over 20,000 trees

During the COVID-19 pandemic, HnhKenya stepped up its efforts to address immediate needs. We provided essential supplies such as reusable masks, sanitizers, washing detergents, stationery, and sanitary pads. By assisting the community during this crisis, we demonstrated our commitment to their well-being and safety.
